BiON Antibacterial Cleanser

Description

Antibacterial Cleanser is specifically formulated for acne-prone clients with normal to oily skin. It delivers powerful bacterial control—targeting Propionibacterium acnes and other acne-promoting bacteria and lipases—without over-drying the skin. A key ingredient, cinnamon bark extract, helps inhibit 5-alpha reductase activity in the sebaceous glands and reduces inflammation by blocking cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), a known pro-inflammatory enzyme. Approximately 1% of users may experience redness and stinging around the second or third day of use due to sensitivity to topical cinnamon. For these individuals, we recommend switching to Bacteriostat Cleanser as a gentle alternative.

This cleanser is Step 1 in BiON’s 3-step acne control system for normal, oily, or combination skin.

• For acne with normal to oily skin types

How to Use:
For home use, apply to skin, lather with water and rinse twice daily. For the professional, use in advance of extractions and again following release of bacterial discharges on the face.  May also be used for body acne.
