February includes the holiday Valentine’s day, which is mostly centered around partners and the love they share. There can be different feelings towards the holiday, it’s a holiday you either enjoy or don’t. The narrative doesn’t always have to be about love for others or your partner, but  can also be about self-love and self-care. Self-care/self-love is a theme that an esthetician can extend to their clients in the form of client gifts or a practice that can be personally embodied.

Who doesn’t love a well thought out gift? Valentine’s Day is a fabulous opportunity to nourish and build a relationship with your clients. Small gifts can make a huge difference in someone’s day. Last year the Alexander’s Aesthetics team made cute gifts consisting of chocolate (we used kisses) and the Intrinsics Heart Shape Sponges and Skin Script samples. If you don’t have Skin Script samples you can purchase Sample Containers and put your favorite products in them. I would recommend moisturizers or scrubs in terms of cost. We also included a Just The Strip Wipe It Good Personal Wipes. You can purchase small gift bags at craft stores or grocery stores.
