The Elderberry Enzyme is an exfoliating treatment formulated with antioxidant-rich botanicals and brightening ingredients to help improve the appearance of dry, dehydrated, and uneven-looking skin. Mandelic acid gently exfoliates to lift away dull surface buildup, revealing skin that looks smoother, softer, and more radiant.

Alpha-arbutin and kojic acid help improve the appearance of uneven tone for a brighter-looking complexion. Elderberry provides antioxidant support and is a natural source of Vitamin C, while Lipochroman-6® helps defend against the visible effects of daily environmental stressors. Echinacea stem cells help improve the appearance of skin firmness and leave the complexion looking refreshed and revitalized.

Directions for Use

• Stir well. After cleansing, apply an even layer. Leave on for up to 10 minutes, then remove thoroughly.

Key Ingredients

• Mandelic Acid (5%) is a larger molecular weight alpha hydroxy acid with antibacterial properties and is working as an exfoliant, allowing dead skin cells to slough off, making room for regrowth of new skin. Improves wrinkling, roughness, and softens skin.
• Alpha-Arbutin (1%) is a non-irritating skin brightener; tyrosinase inhibitor. It is a natural alternative to hydroquinone.
• Kojic Acid (1%) inhibits melanin production by inhibiting tyrosinase. It also provides gradual and continual skin brightening to relieve skin discolorations.
• Sambucus Nigra (Elder) Flower Extract is rich in Vitamin C and will aid in healing the skin. The elderberry antioxidant boosts the skin’s immune system.
• ET-VC™ (INCI 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid) is a stable form of Vitamin C. It is an antioxidant and offers UV protection, skin lightening, MMP inhibition, DNA protection, and collagen synthesis and protection.
• Lipochroman-6® (INCI Dimethylmethoxy Chromanol) is a stable antioxidant with double the activity to protect skin from free radicals and inhibits melanogenesis (lessens pigment).
• Echinacea Stems GX™ (Echinacea Angustifolia Meristem Cell Culture) revitalize and replenish dull and tired skin through stimulation of collagen production, inhibition of collagenase (the enzyme responsible for breaking down collagen) and offers moisturizing activity.
